The choir is made up of 50 singers, making it a well balanced mixed voice choir. We enjoy singing a wide variety of music.
Last year we held a Come and Sing Coronation Concert at St John’s Catholic Cathedral to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III, featuring Handel’s Zadok the Priest and Mozart’s Coronation Mass. Then in the summer we performed a Summer Serenade concert at Poringland Catholic Church singing a variety of music suitable for a summer’s evening. Our Christmas concert was again at Poringland Catholic Church where we sang Christmas music including Carols for audience participation.
This year begins with a Come and Sing Concert at St Andrew’s Church in Eaton where will be joined by extra singers to perform Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle.
